Lara Pelzer, Career Information Assistant, is available on Mondays and Fridays at Main Street Education in room 438. Lara offers assistance to students in career exploration and planning, researching post-secondary training and educational options, as well as job search techniques. Are you puzzled about what career you would like to pursue in the future? Do you want to find out what requirements are needed to get into a certain post-secondary program? Are you unsure about how to prepare for an interview? Or write an exceptional coverletter and resume? These are the type of questions Lara can help you address. Lara also visits various post-secondary institutions to keep current with admission policies and procedures and promotes special events such as guest speakers and career fairs so students have all the resources they need. For an appointment, please feel free to call, email, or sign-up outside Lara’s office door. Drop-ins are welcome during open hours if she does not have an appointment scheduled.
