Graduation Ceremonies
To celebrate the success of our students, Main Street Education Centre and all VSB adult centres host a graduation ceremonies in May of each year. The ceremonies is an excellent opportunity for students and teachers to appreciate all the hard work that goes into completing a diploma. All staff and students are welcome to attend so even if you are not one of the graduating students you may come to support those that are finishing.
What happens on the night of the ceremonies?
The night includes a formal ceremony with an informal social gathering. The graduates will cross the stage in a gown to accept their diploma and then gather with their family, friends and favourite instructors. There is an array of snacks and drinks, a jazz band, an art display and a professional photographer. It is a very comfortable atmosphere dedicated to the enjoyment of the success of the students in adult education. It is free for all students and guests.
How do I register of the grad ceremonies?
Contact Dave Hamar (see Outreach worker section) to find out more details about when and where the ceremonies will take place.
